About the Role
Our client is an established contractor specialising in property adaptations, maintenance and refurbishment, working with local authorities and housing providers across Yorkshire.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Bathroom & Wet Room Fitter to join their team.
This is a hands-on role involving complete bathroom installations and wet room adaptations, particularly converting existing bathrooms into accessible, level-access shower rooms for elderly and disabled residents.
We are looking for a genuinely multi-skilled tradesperson who can confidently manage installations from start to finish, including plumbing, tiling, joinery and general finishing work, without relying on other trades. Electrical and any required gas work will be completed by qualified specialists.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out complete bathroom and wet room installations, from initial strip-out through to final finishing.

* Complete first and second fix plumbing, including hot and cold water supplies, waste pipework and drainage.

* Install level-access showers, wet room formers, shower pumps, sanitaryware and accessible bathroom equipment.

* Prepare and tile walls and floors, including waterproofing, tanking, grouting and sealing.

* Carry out joinery and general building work, including studwork, boxing-in, door alterations, flooring preparation and plaster patching.

* Install waterproof shower wall panels and hygienic cladding, including Altro Whiterock or similar systems.

* Read drawings, follow schedules of work and manage installations independently.

* Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and professionalism when working in occupied homes.
Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Proven experience completing full bathroom and wet room installations independently, from start to finish.
Strong practical skills across plumbing, tiling, joinery and general building work.
Experience installing level-access showers, wet room formers and waterproofing systems.
Experience fitting shower wall panels and hygienic wall cladding.
The ability to complete installations to a high standard without relying on other trades.
Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings.
A professional and considerate approach when working in occupied homes, particularly with elderly or vulnerable residents.
A full UK driving licence.

Please note:

This is a genuinely multi-skilled role. Applicants must be confident completing all stages of a bathroom or wet room installation, rather than specialising in just one trade.

Desirable Experience
It would be advantageous if you also have experience in:
Installing Altro, Polysafe or similar slip-resistant safety flooring.
Subfloor preparation, levelling, cap-and-cove skirting and hot-welded flooring seams.
Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) projects.

Accessible bathroom adaptations for local authorities or housing providers.
What's on Offer?

* Competitive salary

* Company van provided, which can be taken home.

* 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service.

* Company uniform.

* Permanent, full-time employment with regular weekday hours.

* Varied projects across Yorkshire.

* Support from an experienced management team.
Interested?
If you're an experienced, multi-skilled bathroom and wet room fitter who takes pride in delivering high-quality installations and can confidently manage projects from start to finish, we'd love to hear from you.
