Leeds Building Services (LBS) is the in‑house service provider for construction, repairs and maintenance works across the Council. The service currently delivers Responsive Repairs, Maintenance and Planned Works to Council Houses across various parts of the City and Council Assets across 800 sites including Schools, the Civic Estate, Offices, Sports and Leisure Centers and Children's Homes across the Authority.

- Joiner (inc uPVC), you'll successfully on working collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the overall ethos, work and aims of the service, and the training and development of yourself and colleagues.

We now have an exciting opportunity for forward‑thinking individuals to join our existing Voids and Responsive teams. The role of Single Trade Operative (Joiner) involves undertaking domestic joinery works to Void properties in order to bring them up to the lettable standard, and undertaking repair works to tenanted properties. Applicants should have relevant experience of working within a Social Housing Environment and be able to demonstrate Joinery trade qualification.

Successful applicants will be expected to apply their skills flexibly across Council departments to support the delivery of multi trade works.
