Salary starts at $60,000 and increases depending on experience.
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for full‑time, 12‑month, exempt, benefit‑eligible Senior Accountant to join the experienced Business Office team. It is a fast‑paced environment with a broad variety of exciting work and responsibility.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Governmental accounting experience
- Assist with preparation of annual budget and budget‑to‑actual evaluation with the fiscal year
- Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Prepare journal entries for complex transactions
- Assist with maintaining fixed asset systems and records
