Utility Billing Clerk/Administrative Assistant Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in clerical accounting or customer service/relations work or any combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of record keeping and problem-solving techniques.
- Working knowledge of customer relations’ practices, procedures and techniques.
- Ability to answer inquiries and complaints under pressure.
- Ability to work tactfully and courteously with the public and coworkers.
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to organize, maintain an effective and efficient workflow.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to perform tasks independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
