Tele Solv Consulting is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support government operations workflows in our Lee’s Summit office.

This role requires 2nd shift work, will support the federal government and all applicants MUST be local to the Lee’s Summit, MO area.

Compensation: $20.48 / hour

The Warehouse Clerk will support a major Government records management effort, performing detailed document handling, scanning, filing, inventory movement, and material processing in a secure underground warehouse environment. Responsibilities include receiving and shelving boxed records, maintaining storage accuracy, supporting mailroom functions, and meeting established production and quality metrics. The role requires adherence to established procedures, strict attention to detail, and consistent physical activity.

This position directly supports a long term Government initiative focused on digitizing, organizing, and preserving critical federal records. The operation improves data accessibility and enhances long term archival integrity through structured warehouse workflows and secure document lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct document scanning, file transfers, and physical interfiling of Government records.
  • Load and unload pallets of boxes from trucks and shelving systems.
  • Perform warehouse and mailroom functions including filing, re shelving, document storage, and related tasks.
  • Follow detailed, repetitive procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of work.
  • Maintain production and quality goals within a high volume operational environment.
  • Work on foot for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in warehouse, file room, document storage, production, or similar roles.
  • Must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen for at least 3 consecutive years.
  • Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Security Authorization (includes credit check).
  • Pass a pre employment drug screen and physical abilities test.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in following structured procedures.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet productivity standards.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling physical and digital records.
  • Capability to sustain repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse environment.

Background

Investigation

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
