Seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations, supplier strategy, and team development for an industrial manufacturing organization in Missouri. - Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational support
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive cost savings, service levels, and long-term value
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions for equipment, services, and operational spend categories
- Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, procurement best practices, and process standardization across the function
- Support inventory optimization efforts through collaboration with materials management and operational teams
- Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and contractor qualification processes
- Utilize procurement and ERP systems to improve reporting, data integrity, and decision-making capabilities
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness and team performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of procurement
, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience - 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and operational purchasing environments
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working within ERP, procurement, or inventory management systems
