Floater, Child Care​/Nanny

Overview

Child Prodigy East of Lee's Summit is a licensed childcare center seeking a Full-time and Part-time Floater Teacher to support all classrooms, Infants-PreK!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Previous childcare experience preferred!

Shift: Mon-Fri, Full-time 9am-6pm, Part-time 2-6pm

Compensation: $15-16.50/hour based on education and experience.

• Willingness to support the center as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
