Our client is a highly respected and growing General Contractor with a strong presence throughout the St. Louis market. With a substantial pipeline of upcoming work, they are looking to add both Project Managers and Senior Project Managers across their Healthcare or Industrial/Manufacturing divisions.

The business is seeking experienced construction professionals who can take ownership of projects from preconstruction and early planning through execution and final closeout
, while developing strong relationships with clients, design partners, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Candidates do not need experience across every sector. Strong backgrounds within Healthcare, Industrial, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Cold Storage, Logistics, or Commercial Construction will all be considered.

The Opportunity

Depending on experience, you will take responsibility for either individual projects or larger, more complex programs while working closely with Superintendents, Preconstruction, Estimating, and senior leadership.

Senior Project Managers will have additional responsibility for mentoring Project Managers and Project Engineers, managing complex project delivery, and serving as a senior point of contact for key clients.

Projects include:

Healthcare – Ground-up, renovations, occupied facilities and complex clinical environments

Industrial & Manufacturing – Manufacturing facilities, food & beverage, cold storage, distribution and logistics

Commercial Construction – Complex ground-up and renovation projects

  • Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field leadership
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, scopes, and change orders
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, risk assessments, and turnover processes
  • Review constructability, logistics, phasing, and project delivery strategies
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively identify potential delays and risks
  • Manage project financials, cost reporting, forecasting, and targeted margins
  • Act as a primary client contact throughout project delivery
  • Develop long-term client relationships that generate repeat business
  • Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
  • Mentor and develop Project Engineers and other project team members
  • Support design-build and early-engagement delivery strategies

Candidates with healthcare backgrounds should ideally have experience with ground-up and/or renovation work in sensitive or occupied environments.

Experience with
infection control, patient safety, healthcare compliance, phasing, and coordination around active facilities is particularly valuable.

Industrial & Manufacturing Opportunities

Candidates with industrial backgrounds should ideally have experience delivering technically complex facilities across sectors such as:

  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Industrial Facilities

Experience with
design-build delivery and early preconstruction involvement is highly desirable.
