Location: Lee's Summit

A school district in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in school psychology to support student development and well-being through comprehensive psychological services. This role involves direct service provision, assessment, and collaboration with educators and families to promote academic success and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Travel between various district sites as needed to deliver services and attend meetings.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and psycho educational evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel within the district to support diverse school locations.
