• Position Summary: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self‑esteem. Assist with the Football program.
• Essential Functions:
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the rules and fundamentals of football.
  • Provide emergency first aid.
  • Maintain a conducive and safe environment.
  • Maintain, issue, and provide an accurate inventory of school equipment; model skills of the sport.
  • Develop positive relations with students and parents. This includes appropriate dress, language, and demeanor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises students in program.

• Experience: Previous experience in coaching football preferred.
• Education: Educator certification preferred. Must hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate or be eligible for a substitute teaching certificate (minimum 60 college credit hours).
• Continuing Education/Training: MSHSAA requirements.
