Qualifications:

• Valid Substitute Certificate listed as active on the DESE website
• Experience in classroom support, with a willingness to work with toileting, changing, and behavior management
• Prior exposure to K-12 settings and comfort adjusting to different grade levels and roles
• Open to providing support as needs arise, either in a floating or assigned capacity
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready to contribute positively to school communities

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering academic and behavioral support to students
• Work effectively with students who have varying physical and emotional support requirements
• Provide care including toileting and hygiene tasks as needed
• Support instruction and classroom organization in both general and SPED classrooms
• Communicate and collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
