Job Overview

Right At School is hiring for the  school year to provide before and after school extended day programs in the Webster Groves School District. The role focuses on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. We build a team of mission‑driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Location

Applicants should be open to working at any of our schools located within the Webster Groves School District. Hiring needs are determined by program demand, so preferred school assignments cannot be guaranteed.

Schedule & Pay

Mon‑Fri: 6:15 AM‑7:50 AM and 2:20 PM‑6:00 PM (Friday only). Pay ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Safety & Joy:
    Exhibit role‑model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met. Support staff by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date, outlining attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensuring program tasks are completed effectively. Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff.
  • Safety Assurance:
    Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Effective Communication:
    Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children. Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours. Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs and ensure "name to face" attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Daily Routine:
    Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, visual) with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
State & Certification Requirements
  • Center Director Certification from Missouri’s Dept. of Secondary Education (DESE) office. Candidates without this certification cannot be considered.
  • Willingness to undergo background check, including Family Care Safety Registry registration/screening and clear eligibility letter from the state.
  • First Aid and CPR (in‑person).
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • 18 + years of age.
  • Proof of high‑school diploma or GED.
