As an Instructional Aide in this flexible per diem role, you'll provide critical 1:1 support to students, helping them succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially within a positive learning environment. • Offer academic and behavioral support to students in classrooms
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as guided by educators
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage active classroom participation
• Follow behavior intervention plans and implement IEPs where required
• Support student mobility, general supervision, and personal care
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for learning

• High school diploma or GED
• Either an active Para Pro or Substitute Teaching certification, or 36 college credits
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to meet school health and safety policies, such as a current TB test
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, and assist with student mobility as needed
• Current clearances, or commitment to obtain them before working

• Previous work in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health
• Familiarity with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus (but not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
