SummaryThis 10 hour per week part-time position supports the Skills Institutes in the School of International Service. These weekend courses provide graduate students in international affairs with in-demand skills.
Essential Functions- The incumbent supports Skills Institute faculty during, and prior to, instruction of the course.
- The incumbent supports students in Skills Institutes by troubleshooting technological issues and other access challenges.
- Complementing the AU-wide SETs, the incumbent surveys students and analyzes the data generated by these surveys.
- Part‑time
- 10 hours per week
- $18.40 - $19.50 per hour
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in working with events, professional communications, and/or research and evaluation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in international affairs or education.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Demonstrated interest in experiential education.
- This position requires regular weekend (Saturday and Sunday) work.
- This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
