Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time## Description The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role helps implement daily activities, supervises children, and promotes their social, emotional, and developmental growth.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assist the Lead Teacher with lesson plans and classroom activities
* Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times
* Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
* Support children’s social and emotional development
* Observe and report children’s progress and behavior
* Prepare materials and set up learning centers
* Communicate respectfully with children, staff, and families
* Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred)
* Experience working with young children is a plus
* Basic understanding of child development
