Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000

The Regional Finance Lead is the primary finance representative supporting the Kansas City office. This role functions as an embedded business partner, working closely with operational leadership and project teams to drive financial visibility, accountability, and performance. The individual will have a key role in producing regional forecasts, budgets, reporting, and variance analysis, and communicating the results back to regional leadership and Enerfab’s Cincinnati headquarters.

This role will help shape forward-looking decisions by identifying financial risks, surfacing opportunities, and translating complex financial data into actionable guidance.

Operational Finance Partnership:

• Act as the day‑to‑day financial point of contact for Kansas City leadership.
• Build strong working relationships with project managers, operational management, and corporate resources to understand the drivers of financial performance.
• Provide clear recommendations that support margin expansion, cost control, and predictable project outcomes.

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis:

• Prepare and manage monthly sales forecasts
• Manage preparation for monthly strategic check‑ins
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Analyze monthly results and explain variances with a focus on root‑cause drivers.
• Track overhead spend and evaluate it against plan.
• Support resource planning decisions through data‑driven analysis.

Reporting & Communication:

• Deliver concise, decision‑oriented reporting packages, presenting findings to local and corporate leadership with confidence and clarity.
• Collaborate with corporate finance to ensure alignment with enterprise reporting standards.
• Strengthen financial rigor within the operation by improving reporting workflows and data reliability.
• Support adoption of corporate tools and forecasting methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in project finance, FP&A, construction/manufacturing finance, or public accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial and business analytics tools. Exposure to SAP and/or SAP Analytics Cloud strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with non‑financial partners.
• Naturally proactive with a strong ownership mentality
