Location: Lee's Summit

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Service Now modules and capabilities, supporting both business and technical teams
  • Gather, define, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and functional specifications
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs and platform strategy
  • Partner with developers and administrators to support the design, configuration, and enhancement of Service Now applications (ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB, etc.)
  • Participate in sprint planning, testing, and release activities to ensure high-quality delivery of features and enhancements
  • Support platform governance by ensuring configurations follow best practices and align with established standards
  • Monitor platform performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with technical teams
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts to support adoption and usability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business processes and deliver expected outcomes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Service Now or similar enterprise platforms
  • Service Now certifications are a plus
  • Experience supporting or configuring Service Now modules such as ITSM, HR, Project Management, or CMDB
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and product ownership principles
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
  • Working knowledge of Service Now flows, integrations, and scripting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
