Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configuration of timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Monitor data feeds from source systems into payroll and timekeeping as well as monitor outbound data feeds to other systems and third party vendors. Troubleshoot errors with data feeds and resolve.
• Maintains documentation on business processes, configurations and other materials.
• Creates more complex end user reports, analyzes the data within and compiles the data in requested formats for management/executive reporting.
• Recommends and supports management with more complex system modifications to meet the changing needs of the department. Tests system modifications/programming changes. Updates internal work processes/jobs aids resulting from systems changes. Trains other associates on systems changes.
• Collaborates with human resources operations and cross functional teams to define business requirements for required or requested changes.
• Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end users and communicates status to relevant stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related
• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems configuration and integrations, including ADP and Kronos.
• Understanding of elements of payroll and timekeeping systems such as schedules, pay codes, pay rules, calendars etc.
• Understanding of multi-jurisdictional entities (federal, state and local compliance)

Demonstrates expertise in payroll and timekeeping systems configuration, including ADP and Kronos, while ensuring compliance with multi-jurisdictional regulations. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams.
