Logistics Analyst II

Job Description

Maintain fuel surcharges, rates, and transit times for carriers in multiple systems (WMi, Log Pro/Varsity, and OTM). Validate system configurations, build system expertise, troubleshoot issues, create reports and analyses using Power BI, SSRS, or other tools, automate processes, and develop data analysis methods. Work with internal/external customers to define user requirements, assist QA, user acceptance testing, training, and sign‑off. Lead process improvement efforts, develop SOPs, and provide training.

• Maintain fuel surcharges, rates, and transit times across WMi, Log Pro/Varsity, and OTM.
• Validate system configurations to ensure accurate information.
• Build system expertise and troubleshoot new issues.
• Create reports, analyses, charts; represent data with Power BI, SSRS, or similar.
• Automate manual processes where possible.
• Develop data analysis methods, estimate timelines, provide status updates to management.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to define and document user requirements.
• Assist with quality assurance, user acceptance testing, training, and user sign‑off.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, outline existing procedures, eliminate inefficiencies.
• Develop SOPs, process maps, flow charts, and ensure smooth transition.

• Proficient with AS400 applications (WMi and Log Pro).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with system governance, configuration, or maintenance.
• 2‑year degree preferred.
• Data analysis using Excel and SQL required.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, charts, formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and thorough documentation of changes and testing.
• Deadline oriented with ability to work under stress.
• Prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to learn processes quickly, break them into logical steps, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and independent decision‑making.
• Knowledge of business/quality metrics, scorecards, and processes.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
