Location: Lee's Summit
Role
Field Director for GU Oncology leading a regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, responsible for scientific, clinical, and educational support to healthcare professionals, ensuring compliant and insight-driven engagement aligned with medical strategies.
Responsibilities- develop and execute regional medical strategies
- coach and manage MSLs
- oversee field activities including product launches and stakeholder interactions
- coordinate cross-functional projects
- Maintain high scientific and soft skill standards within the team
- analyze medical insights to inform evidence generation
- lead regional scientific initiatives
- Collaborate with internal partners and serve as a scientific leader in the field, ensuring team performance and compliance with regulations
- minimum of a master’s degree (PharmD, PhD, MD preferred)
- 8+ years in pharma
- including 2+ years in MSL or similar roles
- clinical/research experience preferred
- previous management experience desirable
- focus on oncology, specifically GU cancers
- regional travel (~60%), including national scientific congresses
- proficiency in data analysis, strategic planning, and emerging technologies such as AI
regional travel required, based in the South Central US, close to an airport.
