Position Title: Press Brake Operator
Wage: $15-$22/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm Start time 7am-7:30am

- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment according to specifications
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and efficient production
- Produce quality parts using assigned machinery and hand tools
- Follow the 1st Piece Inspection Procedure without deviation
- Anticipate, recognize, and communicate machine malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Measure parts using calipers and other precision measurement tools
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Complete required paperwork and work center operations
- Track and measure personal performance hourly using computer time badge per job
- High school diploma, its equivalent, or higher
- Frequent lifting of 5-35 pounds, occasional lifting of 50+ pounds, occasional pushing/pulling of 150-200 pounds
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stepping, carrying, and reaching
- Frequent hand use including grasping, manipulation, and twisting
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings
- Manufacturing or machine experience is helpful but not required
- Press brake or punch press experience is a plus
- Experience using measuring tools like calipers is helpful but can be taught
- Must be trainable in English paperwork
- Basic math skills including decimals
