Position Title: Press Brake Operator

Wage: $15-$22/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm Start time 7am-7:30am

Press Brake Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment according to specifications
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Produce quality parts using assigned machinery and hand tools
  • Follow the 1st Piece Inspection Procedure without deviation
  • Anticipate, recognize, and communicate machine malfunctions or maintenance needs
  • Measure parts using calipers and other precision measurement tools
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Complete required paperwork and work center operations
  • Track and measure personal performance hourly using computer time badge per job
Press Brake Operator Requirements:
  • High school diploma, its equivalent, or higher
  • Frequent lifting of 5-35 pounds, occasional lifting of 50+ pounds, occasional pushing/pulling of 150-200 pounds
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stepping, carrying, and reaching
  • Frequent hand use including grasping, manipulation, and twisting
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Manufacturing or machine experience is helpful but not required
  • Press brake or punch press experience is a plus
  • Experience using measuring tools like calipers is helpful but can be taught
  • Must be trainable in English paperwork
  • Basic math skills including decimals
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
