Underground Haul Truck Driver - Night Shift

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Night Shift Underground Heavy Equipment Operator at the underground mine and surface operations in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Martin Marietta’s Missouri market is anchored by the Randolph Mine, a major underground limestone operation located in Randolph, Missouri. The facility supplies crushed stone and other aggregate products to contractors, municipalities, and producers across the Kansas City metropolitan area.

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

This is a full‑time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred
• 1+ years related experience
• Valid US driver’s license

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
• General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and handling materials
