Main Accountabilities- Assists with maintaining the BCSC inventory, operation and maintenance of pilot plant equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to research and development teams in the routine operation of equipment and projects.
- May be assigned to specific projects or program initiatives working closely with research and development teams.
- Maintain required ingredient inventories and records including reordering and receiving.
- Responsible for record keeping of technical support provided and equipment maintenance.
- Assists in the coordination for all BCSC building/grounds maintenance and services.
- Performs other duties/projects based on evolving business needs and to enhance the overall success of the organization.
- Bachelor's in food/bakery science or mechanical certificate preferred.
- Minimum of one to two years of experience operating pilot plant equipment.
- General knowledge of processing equipment functions and dangers.
- Ability to safely work independently with general guidance.
- May have to lift 50 pounds.
