Heat Assistant - Kansas , MO

ACUREN is recruiting for a Heat Treat Technician I to support operations in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on assisting in furnace operations, loading and unloading, monitoring temperatures, recording data, and ensuring safety compliance. This entry level position develops foundational knowledge of heat treatment principles, metallurgy basics, and process control practices within a production or laboratory environment.

• Setup of Pre-Heat and Stress Relief equipment
• Ability to perform machining work (a plus)
• Must be available for call out jobs
• Adhere to Acuren and Client Safety Policy and Procedures
• Promote a positive safety culture
• Complete JHAs
• Communicate effectively with Project Manager, QC Manager, and Supervisor
• Maintain morale and professional presentation
• Produce charts, heat treat reports, and hardness testing reports to submit to QC

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in Heat Treat field
• Must pass background check
• Must pass company drug screen
