Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, Assembly, Machine Operator, Production Associate / Production Line
Operator will be required to set‑up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce and/or prepare for shipment a good quality product. Examples of machines and equipment include, but are not limited to, blade folding, riveting, conveying, boxing, banding, strapping, leading, painting, and other departmental equipment.
Processes performed will be, but not limited to, assembling, painting, boxing, palletizing, leading, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, twisting, and deburring.
Operator may be required to make visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, record production, record scrap, keep required production records, and perform other operations as required.
Operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
- Ability to walk, see and have full use of both hands.
- Ability to perform highly repetitive work with high weights and much vibration, 22-25 assemblies per minute using eight different motions.
- Ability to lift and carry 50‑lb cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet. Carton is lifted from a height of 6’’ to 48’’ at a rate of approximately 40 per hour.
- Ability to push loaded skids using a force of 20 lbs. a distance of 6 feet, periodically.
These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
