Job Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist, where your expertise in precision machining will drive the production of high-quality components. Shift
1st shift:
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd shift:
Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 AM
Pay Range: $26.00 – $32.00+/hour (based on experience)
Differential: $2.25/h for 2nd shift
Expected Base Annual Salary: $54,080 – $66,560+ per year, plus differential and overtime

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, to produce complex parts according to technical specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to inspect parts during and after machining.
- Maintain proper tooling, tool changes, and machine calibration to uphold high standards of accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and assist with setup adjustments as needed.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
Skills
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately.
- Familiarity with tooling setup, hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control procedures.
- Experience working with plastics injection molding or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for material handling.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and continuous improvement in machining processes.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferably 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Mastercam experience is a plus
