Job Description:

Retirement: Eligible for retirement program 3% company matching contribution

Board: We Will Go has an executive board that votes, advises, and makes decisions concerning bylaws, employees, policies, and direction of ministry.

Director of Ministry Programs Duties:
  • Manage, maintain, and build Education & Essential Food Programs (after school, summer camp, and food pantry)
  • Sales Force training and implementation in all ministry areas
  • Manage and lead full-time & part-time staff for We Will Go Community Programs Develop and lead volunteer and staff training
  • Recruit and hire staff for after school, summer camp, & food pantry as needed Establish and enforce policies and safety procedures Management-of MSDH license and facility standards
  • Administrative duties, including but not limited to: student advocacy, managing and developing school and community partnerships, and volunteer/donor relations, prioritizing client and community needs
  • Facilitating activities and special events with students, staff, and volunteer teams Promote fair play, discipline, and trauma-informed care among students, especially during Education Programs
  • Liasson for parents/guardians/schools providing updates and concerns
  • Provide oversight into curriculum needs for education programs
  • Manage and oversee food pantry operations
  • Maintain and solicit food partnerships
  • Manage state grant regulations and requirements to ensure funding requirements are met
  • Submit needed Information regarding reporting such as: USDA, MFN, GIK reports, grant claims & supporting documentation
  • Maintain CACFP and SFSP applications, records, and production Maintain programming in accordance with purpose and mission of We Will Go

Position

Qualifications:
  • Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Experience working with children and community members
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey procedures to staff and volunteers Management and Leadership skills to guide and motivate staff and students
  • Confidence in leading a team
  • Assertive, professional, and safe
  • Willingness to take steps to be certified by MSDH
  • Organizatlon skills and attention to detail to maintain a variety of compliance regulations
  • Able to share your faith and teach students and community members about Christ
