What You’ll Be Doing- Assist residents with routine administration of medications
- Order, receive, and take inventory of medications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication cart
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the clinical team
- Medication Aide Certificate required for the state
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- At least one year of experience as a Medication Technician
- Valid CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Personal or professional experience in memory care or with individuals living with Alzheimers or dementia preferred
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English
- Comfortable working around animals and pets
