Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit.

• Position:
  Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit
• Schedule:
  
  Full Time, 36 hours, Nights
• Up to 20k sign on bonus available
• Supportive leadership team, Nursing Assistants to assist
• Intensivists and NPs work alongside RNs during shifts;
  Respiratory Therapy available at night
• Extra incentives available for picking up additional shifts

This position will allow you to work with primarily orthopedic patients, but team also takes overflow from general surgery, and medical patients. This is a busy, fast-paced unit with a nationally recognized team who has received their Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. They are a leader in quality measures, celebrate successes, and recognize hard work.

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

• Experience:
  
  2 years
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Education:
  
  Associate Degree

• Full Time
• Night shift (United States of America)
