Saint Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit is seeking a Pre Op/PACU RN to join their peri‑anesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care to patients with various conditions and acuity levels undergoing procedures including orthopedics, total joint replacement, sports medicine, gynecology, urology, plastic surgery, general surgery, ophthalmology, and some spine cases.

Full Time – Day shift. This is a tight‑knit collaborative team that supports each other and is willing to go above and beyond for their peers, patients, and families. They are a customer‑focused team where patient experience is a top priority.

• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process.
• Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

• Applicable experience: 1 year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse (KS) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
• Registered Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Full Time – Day shift (United States of America).
