Medical intermediate is a 30‑bed unit that cares for a variety of diagnoses and complex medical conditions, including surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients. The nursing team values unit teamwork, quality patient care, and a passion for growth and development.

With several experienced charge nurses who joined the team upon the unit’s opening, this group has a strong foundation and is eagerly looking forward to growing our team. Support staff on this unit include nursing assistants, a clinical coordinator, and a clinical educator.

In a hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

• Active Missouri RN license (or compact license)
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
• Passion for patient‑centered care

Applicable

Experience:

• Less than 1 year Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse – Various Associate Degree
