Medical Surgical Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Play a vital role in patient assessments, treatment plans, and delivering personalized care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Med/Surg RN role.
• Proficient in using wound vacs and IV pumps.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including weekends.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
