LPN, LPN​/LVN, RN Nurse

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a dedicated LPN to provide compassionate, evidence-based bedside care in our tertiary teaching hospital. The LPN supports RNs and providers with assessments, vitals, medication administration, wound care, and accurate EHR documentation. This role promotes safety, patient education, and interdisciplinary teamwork while serving diverse populations. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care under RN and provider supervision
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient assessments, and observations in EHRAdminister medications and treatments per protocols and scope of practice
• Perform basic wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures
• Support care planning, discharge preparation, and patient education
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and support triage needs
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Contribute to a culture of compassion, teamwork, and continuous learning
