American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring telemetry and cardiac drip titration skills, with MO or compact license in hand.

• Community hospital setting on a Med/Surg Tele unit with 240 staffed beds including a 16-bed ICU
• Cares for post cath patients at a 1:5 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:45 AM-7:15 PM)
• Requires 8 weekend shifts (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday) within a 6-week schedule
• Regular floating required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• May be assigned charge RN duties and holiday shifts as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active RN license
  - Missouri or compact license required in hand (Kansas license may also be needed due to floating)
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and titrating cardiac drips required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Two professional references required, one from a supervisor or above and one from a charge RN, both from within the past year

• Provide nursing care including telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, and post cath patient management
• Navy scrub color required
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Maximum RTO of 7 days allowed
• Returning staff must have an 18-month break in service, with a 3-month minimum break required
• Former permanent employees of BJC or Saint Luke's must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
