Solar Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control duties overseeing construction and maintenance of Solar installations on multiple project sites
• Control the quality specified in the project plans and specifications
• Maintain an effective project quality control system
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation of all quality control activities
• Write and submit quality inspection and testing plans
• Assist with maintaining procedures and protocol that meet industry standards
• Communicate with the Project Manager, Project Superintendent(s), and other project team members regarding the execution of the work
• Ensure that subcontractors and vendors provide the required quality of work
• Perform or participate in onsite and offsite quality inspections
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety
• Provide periodic quality reports to management

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a quality control role, electrical, solar installation, or solar/electrical commissioning
• Read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings and documents
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people of all knowledge levels
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrates expertise in quality control for solar installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Proficient in documentation, communication, and technical advice related to construction and maintenance processes.
