Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 convenience store locations and 2 liquor stores.

We are developing a new coffee/ donut concept named Baxters. The store will be located in Lee's Summit. We will serve lattes and other coffee specialties, as well as manufacture donuts for retail and deliver them to our Temp-Stop locations daily. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working overnight cooking and icing donuts.
Primary ResponsibilitiesWe’re searching for individuals who want to make this a career and have a passion for creating baked goods. We understand these are hard times and strive to provide a safe workspace (we abide by CDC guidelines).
This position entails pastry prep, making dough, crafting garnishes, shaping dough, frying donuts, icing, and garnishing donuts. It also involves helping the general manager manage staff, operating the production when the general manager is off, and assisting with scheduling, ordering, etc.
Job Duties- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain station, practicing good safety and sanitation.
- Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Pay frequency: bi‑weekly. Starting pay: $16.00 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience, starting pay can be higher.
Earn an additional $0.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
Earn a performance review in as little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
Health insurance available within 90 days of your starting date.
Vacation pay, overtime pay over 40 hours, annual bonus based upon store profits, overtime pay for those that work the holidays.
Manager Responsibilities (if applicable)- Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
- Stocking shelves and coolers
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
- Communicate with associates and guests
- Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)
- Physical requirements:
frequent bending, reaching, lifting 1–15 lbs; be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion; reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist; freely access all areas of the store; move quickly around store.
No specific qualifications listed, but experience in pastry, food preparation, and kitchen operations is preferred. Applicants should be reliable, able to work overnight, and able to follow company procedures.
