Donut Baker

Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 convenience store locations and 2 liquor stores.

We are developing a new coffee/donut concept named Baxters. The store will be located in Lee's Summit.

We will serve lattés and other coffee specialties, manufacture donuts for retail, and deliver them to our Temp-Stop locations daily.

We are looking for a few individuals who like to work overnight cooking and icing donuts.

We’re searching for individuals who want to make this a career and have a passion for creating baked goods. We understand these are hard times and strive to provide a safe workspace, abiding by CDC guidelines.

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station, practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Production times typically start at 7 am and run until 3 pm for dough mixing and frying. Donut icing and finishing starts at 9 am and runs until 5 pm.

Pay Frequency: bi‑weekly.

Starting pay is $16 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience, additional responsibilities may be required.

Earn an additional $0.50 per hour from midnight to 6 am (see company policy upon acceptance of a position).

Earn a performance review as early as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.

• Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
• Stocking shelves and coolers
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
• Communicating with associates and guests
• Availability for weekend, evening shifts and holidays
• Reliable transportation required
• Attendance at mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment)
• Physical requirements:
  
  frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lb; ability to lift up to 50 lb on occasion; reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist; freely access all areas of the store; move quickly around store
