Inventory Coordinator- Store , Lee's Summit, MO

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the overall integrity and maintenance of a store’s inventory, working an average of 20–30 hours per week. The role requires maintaining the right product in the right place at the right time while providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure purchase orders are properly received from Ace and non‑Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
• Collaborate with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment upon arrival at the store.
• Research all “outs” by scanning the location using a mobile device, determine the cause, and follow all processes to correct the errors.
• Utilize Mango reports and programs along with daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow defective merchandise procedures to secure credits.
• Maintain on‑hand integrity by reviewing discrepancies, determining root causes, and adjusting counts as needed after proper research.
• Maintain oversight of price change completion, location code integrity, inventory levels, and adjustments.
• Coordinate store preparation for periodic full‑store physical inventories.
• Participate in Inventory Coordinator training and share knowledge with other store associates.
• Work with Store Support Center departments to ensure proper inventory controls.
• Partner with management to report and find solutions for inventory concerns.
• Complete other inventory functions as assigned by management.

• Ability to work independently and in a team to complete multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and find the root cause of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience preferred.

Starting at $16 per hour.
