Overview
Paramount Convention Services Inc. is seeking a Trade Show Project Manager / New Business Development Rep for our St. Louis office.
The Project Manager / New Business Development Rep will be the preplanning and onsite lead to oversee the planning and running of Trade Shows, Conventions, and Corporate Meetings. In addition will prospect for new business through email, phone and in person meetings.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite support as needed.
- Ensure all preplanning is on time, on budget and communicated throughout sales, operations and customer service.
- Ensure all labor orders, buyouts and rentals are in place.
- Be the Onsite Paramount Project Manager lead to ensure customer and company expectations are met and exceeded.
- Build relationships with assigned customers and prospects to retain customers and build future pipeline of opportunities.
- Demonstrates a constant effort to find new business by performing outbound email, sales calls and/or in- person prospecting of new business.
- Visit local Hotels and Convention Centers for lead generation and referral opportunities.
- Attend local industry events as needed.
- Prospect daily via Phone, email, in person networking
- Actively engage with customers and prospects year-round to ensure Paramount’s consultative sales approach and service standards.
- Build quotes and provide pricing to customers through a Paramount proposal. Customize proposal documents as needed.
- Maintain all reporting requirements including Salesforce to date.
- Provide written orders of event requirements to Paramount’s warehouse staff and communicate with all internal departments to successfully produce event as needed.
- Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company.
- Ability and willingness to travel 25%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
- Self-motivated
- Organized and detail oriented.
