Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Mobile Patrol Security Officer to support a commercial property in Earth City, Missouri. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active throughout their shift, and taking pride in maintaining a safe and professional environment. The officer assigned to this role will conduct routine patrols, inspect key areas of the property, and document observations using company reporting systems.

Successful candidates are reliable, observant, and capable of exercising sound judgment while working with minimal supervision.

• Conduct scheduled patrols throughout the assigned commercial property
• Travel designated patrol routes using foot patrols and vehicle patrols as directed
• Inspect building exteriors, parking areas, gates, and access points
• Verify that doors, entrances, and restricted areas remain properly secured
• Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage unauthorized activity

• Observe for suspicious behavior, trespassing, vandalism, or safety hazards
• Assess unusual situations and take appropriate action based on site procedures
• Report security concerns, maintenance issues, or emergencies promptly
• Respond professionally to onsite incidents while following company guidelines

• Record patrol activities accurately using Track Tik and other approved systems
• Complete detailed incident reports when required
• Document observations, security concerns, and corrective actions taken
• Maintain accurate records throughout each shift

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and site representatives
• Provide clear and timely updates regarding incidents or operational concerns
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor while on duty

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle when assigned
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling unexpected situations

• Previous security, patrol, military, law enforcement, or related experience
• Familiarity with mobile reporting platforms or electronic documentation systems
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, or business environments
