Commercial Service Journeyman Electrician – Jackson, MS

Stones River Electric is seeking a Commercial Service Journeyman Electrician to support national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience. The role requires troubleshooting, working independently, and handling service work across commercial environments such as retail, office, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, performing repairs, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and managing required travel.

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in commercial settings.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Operate a service van or bucket truck.
• Travel as required, including out‑of‑town and overnight stays.
• Use basic technology such as iPad for work tasks.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass drug screening, background check, and motor‑vehicle record check.
• Willingness to travel; ability to handle overnight stays.
• Good communication skills.
