A Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician will support and oversee repair of Walmart’s refrigeration and HVAC equipment in local retail stores using commercial HVAC skills and a variety of tools. The role ensures equipment performance and availability, supports store associates, and maintains compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Applicants will have hands‑on experience in commercial refrigeration, possess relevant EPA certifications, and be adept at diagnosing and repairing system faults.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Utilize the work‑order management system to receive, document, and complete repair work orders for stores and store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and equipment training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; able to pass an MVR report.
• Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
