Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Middle Path Wellness Collective – St. Charles & St. Louis (Hybrid Opportunities Available)

Help People Heal Through Collaborative, Whole-Person Mental Health Care

At Middle Path Wellness Collective, we believe mental health care works best when providers work together.

We’re looking for a compassionate, collaborative Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who enjoys building relationships with clients and collaborating with therapists to provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care.

You’ll be joining a practice that values quality care, clinical autonomy, and genuine teamwork over production quotas.

About Middle Path Wellness Collective

Middle Path Wellness Collective is a growing outpatient mental health practice serving adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout Missouri through in-person and telehealth services.

Our therapists specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, ADHD/neurodiversity, addiction, sports and performance psychology, chronic illness, women’s mental health, and life transitions. We believe clients deserve access to coordinated care, where therapy and medication management complement one another rather than exist in separate systems.

Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and down to earth. We consult with one another, celebrate wins together, and believe the best client care happens when clinicians don’t have to practice in isolation.

What You’ll Do

As our PMHNP, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • Provide medication management follow‑up appointments
  • Educate clients and families regarding treatment options
  • Collaborate closely with therapists regarding shared clients
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within our electronic health record
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings
Ideal Client Population

You will primarily work with:

  • Adolescents (ages 12+)
  • Adults
  • Young adults
  • College students
  • Professionals
  • Parents
  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, grief, life transitions, and other outpatient mental health concerns.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
  • Holds an active Missouri PMHNP license and DEA registration
  • Has an active collaborative agreement with a Psychiatrist
  • Has strong diagnostic and psychopharmacology skills
  • Values collaboration with therapists
  • Enjoys educating clients rather than simply prescribing medication
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately
  • Practices evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care
  • Is organized, dependable, and timely with documentation
  • Wants to help shape and grow psychiatric services within a collaborative practice
What We Offer
  • Established referral network with consistent therapist referrals
  • Marketing through our website, Google, social media, and community partnerships
  • Administrative support
  • Electronic Health Record (Sessions Health)
  • Credentialing and billing support
  • Flexible scheduling
  • In‑person office space available
  • Telehealth options
  • Collaborative team environment
  • Professional consultation opportunities
  • Freedom to practice with clinical autonomy
Compensation

This position is offered as a W2 or 1099 contractor position with a competitive percentage‑based compensation model designed to reward growth while providing ongoing administrative and marketing support.

Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.

Why Join Middle Path

Many psychiatric providers spend their days working independently with little opportunity to collaborate with therapists. At Middle Path, you’ll become an integral part of a treatment team.

You’ll have therapists who know your clients, trust your expertise, and value ongoing communication. Clients receive more coordinated care, and providers experience less isolation.

If you’re looking for a practice where relationships matter just as much as clinical excellence, we’d love to meet you.

To Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief introduction sharing your clinical interests, populations you enjoy serving, and what you’re looking for in your next practice home.

  • We look forward to learning more about you.
