Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Driver specializing in wheelchair, stretcher, and specialty transport. Based in Lees Summit, MO, the role involves safely transporting clients to their destinations, assisting them with boarding and disembarking, and ensuring their comfort. The Driver will also be responsible for vehicle maintenance checks, maintaining logs, and providing exceptional customer service to passengers.
Qualifications- Proficient in Driving with a valid license
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience operating specialty vehicles, such as wheelchair and stretcher transport trucks, is highly preferred
- Ability to ensure the safety and comfort of clients during transportation
- Familiarity with local and regional routes in and around Lees Summit, MO
- High level of reliability, responsibility, and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug screen (Marijuana is not allowed)
- CPR Certified (preferred)
- Certified Stretcher Operator (Preferred)
