Job Duties
  • Enter and update offender information in the computer system, including sentencing and financial details.
  • Research and verify offender data to create accurate records and help with orientation programs.
  • Request and review criminal records and prepare prior records for new offenders.
  • Manage and oversee the daily intake and processing of offenders into the tracking system, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with guidelines.
  • Ensure data accuracy through quality checks and generate reports for management.

Additional Information

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Circuit 057 Leesburg. The purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate intake, processing, and maintenance of offender records by entering, verifying, and managing data, reviewing criminal histories, and generating reports to support compliance and organizational operations. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

BACKGROUND

SCREENING REQUIREMENT

The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
