The Role

We’re looking for a Commercial Concrete Project Manager to lead the planning, financial management, and execution of concrete projects across Florida. This role owns the full project lifecycle – from pre‑construction through closeout – ensuring each project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and with uncompromising quality.

This is a high‑impact position that works closely with pre‑construction, field operations, leadership, and clients to drive productivity, mitigate risk, and support profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities Financial & Contract Management

Understand and maintain project budgets, run job cost reports, forecast cost‑to‑complete, prepare and submit billings, manage change orders and negotiate with GCs/owners, oversee subcontract agreements, RFIs, submittals, and ensure full alignment with contract requirements.

Project Planning & Pre-Construction

Review drawings and specifications, participate in pre‑construction meetings, identify constructability issues; plan pour sequences and curing windows; and integrate long‑lead materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs into project planning.

Schedule Management & Coordination

Develop and maintain the master project schedule; coordinate pour sequences, material deliveries, equipment, and manpower with field leadership; monitor critical‑path activities and proactively mitigate schedule risks.

Field Operations Support & Quality Control

Serve as the primary liaison between office and field operations; support resolution of design and scope conflicts; ensure proper installation and quality across formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement; and coordinate inspections and third‑party testing.

Subcontractor & Supplier Oversight

Procure and manage sub‑tier trades; negotiate scopes and issue POs; coordinate timely delivery of concrete, rebar, and accessories; and monitor performance against production, quality, and contractual expectations.

Safety & Compliance

Support project‑specific safety plans; participate in safety walks and observations; assist in regulatory compliance efforts.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Lead progress meetings; maintain communication logs and meeting minutes; and provide regular updates to leadership, clients, design teams, and field staff on schedule, cost, manpower, safety, and project risks.

Project Closeout & Team Development

Manage punch lists, final documentation and file closeout; support final billing and turnover packages; conduct post‑project reviews; and contribute to mentoring and developing junior project staff.

Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of project management experience in commercial concrete or structural construction.
  • Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, slab‑on‑grade, CIP structures, and formwork systems.
  • Proven capability to read, interpret, and apply engineered drawings, specifications, and details to guide field execution and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
