Veterinary Receptionist

Overview

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of Purffect Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital. This position plays a critical role in creating a positive client experience while supporting our clinical team. Position will be working extensively with our PIMS (Vet Spire).

• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday and every other Saturday
• Possibility for overtime exists.
• Compensation:
  Competitive based on experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
• Answering telephones and transferring calls
• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Calm under pressure and solution-focused
• Comfortable using PIMS systems

• Greet clients warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately in Vet Spire.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and invoice processing.
• Maintain patient records and ensure client data accuracy.
• Educate clients about services, preventive care, and basic pet health.
• Assist in keeping the lobby and front desk area clean and organized.
• Function as part of the clinical team.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

• Prior veterinary receptionist or customer service experience
• Bilingual (English & Spansh)
• Knowledge of Vet Spire
