This position creates and modifies technical drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models from sketches, hardline drawings, other electronic formats, and "red line drawings" using CAD software. The CAD Technician III will work closely with the project management team to ensure that the deliverables produced are per the project specifications and requirements.

• Assist the Licensed Surveyor and Mapper in applying Land Surveying principles and methods.
• Assist in developing and implementing new procedures and practices.
• Perform boundary research, calculation, and analysis.
• Perform deed research and deed plotting.
• Prepare legal descriptions, survey drawings, and plats.
• Provide technical office support.
• Perform quality control checks of drawings and deliverables.
• Ensure schedules and production objectives are met.
• Ensure the accuracy of reports by data review and resolving discrepancies internally for assigned projects.
• Plan, prioritize, and organize effectively; and communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and clients.
• Organize, multi‑task, prioritize, and re‑prioritize daily workload with minimum supervision and the ability to meet, establish, and prioritize.
• Collect, organize, disseminate, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• May perform light office duties including but not limited to filing, making copies, and scanning.
• May carry out other duties as assigned by management.

• Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of CAD experience.
• Certified Survey Technician Certification Level III+, SIT certification is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Micro Station, and FDOT surveying.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.

• Ability to make common sense and understand the instructions that are provided.

• Ability to speak effectively to clients, vendors and coworkers up through all levels of management and staff.

• The job requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a computer workstation.

This will be a high-volume, fast-paced work environment managing documents. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
