Overview
UF Health Central Florida, including Leesburg and Spanish Plains Hospital, is seeking a Division Director of Neurovascular to join the team.
Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the operations and management of the Neuroscience service line for UF Health Central Florida. Establishes and upholds the highest standards of clinical excellence and fosters strong relationships with physicians, patients, visitors, and hospital team members. Oversees budgetary controls and ensures achievement of productivity and performance targets.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, standards of care, and organizational policies and procedures. Leverages evidence-based practices to drive quality, safety, and cost‑effective care delivery. Recruits, selects, and develops professional management staff, and coordinates interdisciplinary clinical and operational activities. Serves as a subject matter resource to staff and leadership.
Leads the continued growth and development of Neuroscience services across the region, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and community needs.
Qualifications- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Either RN, Certified Critical Care RN (CCRN) or Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional required. BCLS, ACLS required. - Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training:
Clinically experienced in the areas of administrative responsibility and competent in the application of management principles and decision making that have an impact on the scope of practice and the care of ICP management, hands on set up of EVD placement, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, SAH, coil/clipping & thrombectomy pre‑operative and post‑operative management and risk mitigation strategies. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
