Job Summary:

North Campus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility, is seeking an Admissions Director to join our team in Leesburg, Florida. As an Admissions Director, you will play a crucial role in executing our pre-admission referral process and Census Development by establishing and maintaining relationships with potential customers, families, hospital case managers, physicians, and other key stakeholders, ensuring consistent achievement of strategic goals and market share growth.

Requirements:

• Admission Director/Assistant/Coordinator experience at a previous skilled nursing facility

• Minimum of two (2) years college education in the field of Health Care Administration, Business Management, and/or Marketing or Public Relations

• Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced, healthcare environment and interface with a variety of healthcare professionals

• Insurance verification-Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care

• Dedicated, respectful, caring, and compassionate in dealing with a geriatric population and families in stressful situations

• Ability to accurately execute established pre-admissions financial and clinical decision process, policies & procedures, and complete monthly key indicator reports

• Medical terminology

• Computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, EMR, etc.

• Strong customer service approach and sales-oriented personality

• Proficiency in computer programs utilization, including Microsoft office and other industry-specific software platforms

• Team player with ability to implement and execute marketing initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet census goals by working with the Center's Admissions Liaison to coordinate customer flow into the center

• Establish and maintain positive trends for overall occupancy, Medicare census, new admissions activity, conversion rates, and account receivable targets

• Effectively manage internal sales process with customers, families, and referral sources, resulting in achievement of targeted conversion rates and account receivable targets

• Conduct daily center walk-through to assess physical plant readiness for tours and admissions

• Ensure comprehensive identification and verification of payors for customer financial data

• Arrange with Welcome Coordinator to ensure timely completion, signing, and distribution of admission/readmission paperwork
